Jack Lotto: Born in Kinver in 1857 (real name John Egginton ) Lotto would become a Music Hall performer in the Edwardian /Victorian days with his speciality cycling trick act who later would manage his sons becoming the trio Lotto, Otto and Lilo
Nancy price: Born Lilian Nancy Bache Price would become an actress both on stage and big screen and later in life on television. She was also the founder of “The peoples Theatre”
Robert Plant: Born in 1948, rock legend , Singer, Songwriter has become a world renowned artist in the rock and roll music industry with such artists as Axle Rose and Freddy Mercury becoming influenced by his work, More commonly known as the lead singer in the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin Robert has now been performing solo for a span of over 30 years. He has lived nearby to Kinver for several years enjoying being just a “regular guy” when away from his legendary fame.
Dorothy Round: Born 1908 in Dudley, becoming Wimbledon Tennis Champion in 1934 and 1937 and ranked top ten worldwide from 1933 through to 1937 reaching world number 1 in 1934. In her later years she would settle to Kinver.
Nick Owen: Born 1947, Television presenter and BBC Newsreader is best known for his roles on TV am and Midlands Today.
Nick is a recent newcomer to Kinver and has settled into the village life as many celebs before.
The Arcadian Kicks: The Indie Rock Band formed in 2006 during their GCSE’s at Kinver High School completing their début album ” Making Lovers” in 2010
